Christmas is a wonderful time that we look forward to all year round. For those of you who would like to joyfully sing Christmas carols together with the whole family during the upcoming Christmas, we have prepared a magical concert!
Polish Christmas carols are an inexhaustible treasury of our best values and feelings – religious, national, artistic, but also those bringing back warm memories: Christmas Eve, Christmas tree and Midnight Mass. With the passage of time and fading of the old customs and generations that cultivate them, we miss the tradition of common carol singing and the warmest feelings associated with carols. Our Christmas carol concert is an answer to this longing.
In exceptional places – churches and cathedrals of Polish cities, surrounded by Christmas nativity scenes – the most beautiful Polish carols and pastorals will be presented by outstanding opera / musical soloists with piano and violin accompaniment.
During the concert, you will listen to an opera edition of Christmas carols such as "Sleep, little Jesus", "God is born", "Silent night", "Hey Shepherd, let’s go to the shed", "Today in Bethlehem", "When Christ is born", "There was no place for you", "When the beautiful Virgin" , "Tiny Jesus", "Meager and quiet, miserable stable", "There was no place for you", "Oh little baby", "They came to Bethlehem", "The Triumphs of the Heavenly King", "Lying in the manger", "In night’s still silence".
This concert will fill the hearts of the audience with warmth and joy. There will be what is the most important in Christmas carols – freshness, tradition, magic and emotions!
It will be merry and festive! Additionally, at the concert, the presentation of selected Christmas carols will be preceded by an introduction during which the soloists will familiarize the audience with the interesting genesis of the carols..
All families are welcome to participate in the concert, because in the final of the concert, the artists will invite the youngest participants to sing together the Christmas carol "When they hastened to Bethlehem".
