Charles Camill Saint-Saëns' carnival of animals is a live concert of classical music, enriched with multimedia visualisations presented on the cinema screen.
Although the concert is dedicated to school children, we have no doubt that it will also be a fantastic entertainment for their parents and grandparents. .
Recognized, romantic composer Charles Camille Saint-Saëns, wanting rest after difficult life moments, decided to spend the summer playing with light, playful pieces. This is how a series of 14 miniatures, "zoological fantasies" called "Animal Carnival" was created. Over time, this cycle became the composer’s most recognizable composition. Each of the miniatures of "Animal Carnival" shows a different animal. In fact, animals are only an excuse to demonstrate human values, relationships, and weaknesses.
This concert is therefore a great opportunity for the cultural education of the youngest viewers!
The producer of the concert is Piotr Adam Nowak, founder and artistic director of the Opera da Camera di Roma (Roman Chamber Opera), an association founded in Rome, bringing together the most outstanding musicians and soloists of classical music.
The concert will be presented by the musicians of the Prestige Chamber Orchestra.
